When I came to see Sarah I was feeling anxious, exhausted, sick and in pain most days. I’d always been sensitive to food and had tried a gluten-free and dairy free diet for a while, which worked well for me, but when I fell pregnant I fell off the wagon. After my son was born, I knew I needed to make a change but I didn’t really know how to go about it in a way that would stick. Sarah’s approach was honest, and structured – two things I like a lot! She kept me accountable and really made me think about what I was doing and why. The changes to my diet actually felt manageable and helped me build new habits.
Something else that has been life-changing is my meditation practice, which Sarah encouraged me to start. I don’t think I would have bothered otherwise! Meditation is now an essential part of my day and helps me manage my anxiety.
Now that I have energy and a clear mind, I’ve also managed to start exercising again, which I haven’t done for years! Lots of people have commented on how much weight I’ve lost, which is nice, but really I’m just so happy that I feel so much better. I feel like a different person, and I believe I can stay this way!
