I love to read books about health and wellbeing, and in coming posts I will share some of my old and new favourites with you. I have read a great deal of “health” orientated books from the latest fad diet books through to quite dry scientific text books, but the book that has had the most profound influence on my life so far is How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy by Paul Chek.
This book was recommended by a friend who is fit and healthy and after receiving the book in the mail, I was hooked. I instantly started making some fairly significant changes to my lifestyle based on the recommendations in the book and further interest and research led me down the path I am currently following in regards to my self education.
The great thing about this book is it has a great practical application in every day life and the content just seems to make sense. There are questionnaires to fill out that provide an insight into health areas you need to focus on and great diagrams to provide visuals for movements and exercise recommendations.
