I had been on the birth control pill for 15 years and when I decided I no longer wanted to take it, my body started to experience things it had never before and no longer felt like my own. Coupled with a stressful year of moving to the other side of the world and a handful of health professionals offering terrible advice, my husband mentioned Sarah who he had seen do a talk on women’s health a couple of years earlier.
On a trip back home to Australia, I met with Sarah and almost cried at how delighted I was to meet someone who actually listened to me and offered intelligent and helpful advice. I had gained a fair amount of weight, had absolutely no energy, found it difficult to think or concentrate and felt like I was in high stress mode at all times.
With Sarah’s guidance and workable nutrition changes, my stress levels started to lower, brain fog had cleared, I had energy to do fun things again and lost a little weight too.
