When I first started with Sarah I was completely burnt out from years of pushing myself to be “wonder woman” at everything and in a stressed out mess. I was at a crossroads in my life and knew deep down I had to change things. My main issues were years of poor digestion fluctuating from significant diarrhoea to constipation, this is on a background of coeliac disease. I also had not had a natural period for years and was on the Oral Contraceptive Pill which I did not feel good about being on. I was running on adrenaline and was very highly strung.
With Sarah’s support, guidance and reassurance I was able to make the gradual sustainable changes to put my life back into balance. I stopped the intensive exercise regime I once did and now focus on moving my body in enjoyable ways. Even though I thought I was eating well prior to seeing Sarah I learnt that what I was eating was not doing my digestive system any favours. I now have strategies to follow and my digestive system has significantly improved. Working on my stress, sleep and lifestyle has resulted in me now waking up refreshed, with a sense of purpose and having level energy throughout the day.
I stopped the OCP and was guided by Sarah on steps to improve my hormonal health. Even though I have not regained my period I feel it is going to return and will continue with all of the lifestyle changes Sarah recommended.
