I came to see Sarah after coming across her blog and reading about her journey with amenorrhea. It has been 3 years since my last menstrual cycle and for a long time, I didn’t really understand why it stopped, or what I needed to do to help get it back.
Sarah taught me so much about nurturing my body and honouring what it needs to get me back in sync with myself. I have reduced my exercise and introduced stress-relieving activities such as meditation, and journaling which has helped me feel more balanced and calm. I am so much more relaxed around my eating and have a better understanding of how important it is to feed my body the right things.
In the time I was working with Sarah, I saw dramatic improvements in my anxiety, energy, mood, and confidence. In fact, my life has changed a lot and I’m enjoying working full time again. Although I haven’t got my period back yet, I’m confident that it will come, as long as I keep on my path of self-love.
